Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
We assessed our contributions to the delivery of the SDGs. Jointly with other UKRI-GCFR Hubs, we analyzed ways for effective evaluation of research for development: innovation (link to special issue “Evaluating Research for Development: Innovation to Navigate Complexity”). We focused on evaluating the contribution of research-for-development programmes to the Sustainable Development Goals, using the Trade Hub as an example. Our analysis revealed that the TRADE Hub significantly contributed to ten of the 17 SDGs, particularly SDG 12 (Sustainable Consumption and Production), SDG 15 (Life on Land) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). We explored the synergies and trade-offs between different outputs to maximize impact.
